Atwater terms of use.
Who we are
Atwater is made by Twistor Labs Private Limited (“we”), Hyderabad, India. By installing or using Atwater you accept these terms. On iPhone, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where these terms and Apple's differ for the iPhone app, Apple's take precedence.
Using Atwater
Atwater is for personal use by adults 18 and over. Do not misuse the app, try to break or reverse engineer it, or use it to break the law.
Free plan and Atwater Pro
- Free: 3 meal scans a day and today's dashboard.
- Atwater Pro: unlimited scans, Apple Health or Health Connect, the Fuel, Burn and Recovery view, and trends and weekly patterns. Meal history is free.
- Prices: $4.99 a month, $29.99 a year with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers, or $59.99 once for lifetime access. Prices vary by country and are shown in the app before you pay.
Billing, renewal and cancelling
Payment is taken by the App Store or Google Play when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. If you cancel during the free trial, you are not charged. Manage or cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Use Restore Purchases in the app to get Pro back on a new phone with the same store account.
Estimates, not medical advice
Calories, macros, Fuel, Burn and Recovery are estimates from photos and from data your phone and bands record. They can be wrong. Atwater helps you keep a log and spot patterns; it does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition and is not a medical device. If you have a health condition, are pregnant, or have a history of disordered eating, talk to a doctor or dietitian before changing how you eat or train.
Your data
Your photos, meals and health data stay on your phone. How the app handles data is set out in theAtwater privacy policy.
Intellectual property
The app, the Atwater name and its content belong to Twistor Labs Private Limited. Your meal log and photos are yours.
Liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Atwater in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so in the app before it applies, with a new effective date here.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without taking away any protection the law where you live gives you.
