Named after a trick of geometry.

The name

In the 1960s the mathematician Roger Penrose proposed twistor theory: map the tangled geometry of spacetime into a different space, twistor space, and problems that looked hopeless become straight lines you can actually work with.

We are not physicists. But that move, carry a knotted problem somewhere it becomes simple, solve it there, bring the answer back, is exactly what good software does. So the studio is named for it, and the tagline writes itself: complexity, untwisted.

What we build

Small products with one job each: a drive that mounts any cloud, a tool that checks take-home assignments with evidence instead of accusations, a meal logger that runs entirely on your phone. Different domains, same shape: find the knot, untwist it, ship.

How we work

We keep the team small and the surface area smaller. Everything we publish is real: real statuses, real behaviour, no manufactured numbers. When a product is ready it gets its own home; until then its page here is the honest record of where it stands.
